  1. Hi, I am equivalent to administrator of my network, We have 2 offices worked on diff subnets. means one office ip range is from 135.51.20.0 to 135.51.20.255 other office range is from 135.61.20.0 to 135.61.20.255. We have PDC server in 1st office ip-135.51.30.288 , ads is loaded there. We want 2nd office peoples also to be logged in the same server. i have heard that it's possible. What entries should i made in host or any other file? pls tell if u know.
  2. I have checked all the policies. Can u suggest me what options in policies should I check. I am using the domain users only to login normally in windows. But my question is can't I access the other machine by logging with local administrator in my own machine?
  3. Yes, I am having the sdministrator rights on all machines.
  4. My network has domain model setup. We have one domain & all the machines are Windows XP configured for same Domain. When logged in with domain account, there is no problem in accessing the other machine, shared folder, drives, printers. But if in any machine I logged in with Local user account ( Local administrator ) and I try to access other XP machine it shows the policy error. It doesn't give you the option for authenticating to that machine also. But in same way if I access any NT machine by logging with Local administrator, it allows me to enter the information to authenticate with network. It means this problem is for only XP. I tried several policy level option but could not get solution. Can you help me pls?
