  1. Hello all, Perhaps this is a little off topic, but I was wondering if anyone here knows how to create a menu similar to the one at: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/ The one in the upper-left side of the page. Just a general menu such as this would be nice, if I could find out how they added the images to the left side of the text, that would be even better, but not required. I don't want to "copy" the menu directly as it is not original, and copyright laws ya know, yadda yadda... Thanx for now, Cheers, ziggy
  2. Hello all, I did what brainstane recommended. Note: There are "No" spaces between the directory listings, I only added them to see what's going on better. Initially I ONLY added the following: [unattended] UnattendMode = FullUnattended OemSkipEula = Yes OemPreinstall = Yes TargetPath = \WINDOWS Repartition = Yes UnattendSwitch = "Yes" WaitForReboot = "No" OemPnPDriversPath = "Drivers\001_Network\Realtek_Gigabit_NIC_Driver\WinXP; Drivers\002_Graphics\nVidia_Driver; Drivers\003_Sound\Realtek_AC_'97_Driver\WDM; Drivers\003_Sound\Realtek_AC_'97_Driver\WinNT4; Drivers\004_Monitor\Syncmaster_915N_Driver" DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore All of the drivers installed without any problems, Great!!! Then I ONLY added the following (This is ALL the directories for the .inf files): [unattended] UnattendMode = FullUnattended OemSkipEula = Yes OemPreinstall = Yes TargetPath = \WINDOWS Repartition = Yes UnattendSwitch = "Yes" WaitForReboot = "No" OemPnPDriversPath = "Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\AGP; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Agp95; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\AgpME; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\IDEWin2K; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\IDEWinXP; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Server2003; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\WIN2K; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\WIN9X; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\WINME; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\WINNT; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\WinXP; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Server2003; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Win2000; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Win95; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Win98; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Win98SE; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Winme; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\Inf\Winxp; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\VIA_IDE_Driver\VBusPort\Driver\SRV2003; Drivers\000_Chipset\VIA_Hyperion4in1_4.56v_Driver\VIA_IDE_Driver\VBusPort\Driver\XP2K" DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore NONE of the drivers were installed!!! I did try to install the Chipset driver manually and it works. I even went to Gigabytes website to verify which drivers were installed and which were not. Gigabytes website: http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Motherboard/Su...oadCenter_1.htm I'm completely at a loss here, I don't know what else to try. Any other Suggestions are very welcome. Thanx anyway, Cheers, ziggy1971
  3. Hello all, Does anyone have any ideas on this? Or am I looking for an answer in the wrong place? Cheers, ziggy1971
  4. Hello all, I still haven't figured out how to get the VIA Chipset drivers to install. I copied all 8 of the following files to the "VIA" folder: viamach.cat VIAMACH.INF videbus.sys vIdeInst.dll videport.cat videport.inf videport.sys VProPage.dll Then I created the WinXPSP2.iso, burned it to disk and ran the unattended install, but this way Windows Setup doesn't install my VIA drivers at all. Can anyone help me on this? Thanx ziggy1971
  5. Hello all, I would like to know how I can integrate the VIA chipset driver into the Unattended Windows XP SP2 CD\DVD. I've followed the folder format on this website: http://unattended.msfn.org/intermediate/drivers/drivers.htm so my Chipset Driver would be copied into the D:\XPCD\$OEM$\$1\Drivers\000_Chipset folder. (D:\ - is a second HDD that I use for all of the files & folders necessary for the Unattended Windows XP CD) I have a Gigabyte GA-7VM400AM(F) motherboard and the chipset is a VIA KM400A, at least that's what the manual says. I also read through the guide at: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=37072 However, I'm still not sure how to get the "Right" driver and how to integrate it into the CD\DVD. Any advice\help is greatly appreciated, Thanx in advance, ziggy1971
  6. Hello all, I'm a total newbie to the "Unattended Install" world and am having some trouble understanding what is supposed to be happening in the tutorial at: http://unattended.msfn.org/index.htm First of all, the "Beginners" portion doesn't actually give you an "Unattended" installation disk. The second thing I don't understand is the "$OEM$ Distribution Folders?", I understand the layout that is needed on the computer, but "HOW?" is it used to boot from a CD. To me the setup sounds like it's all being done from a network or a secondary drive. All I want to do is create a "Fully" unattended installation with automatic logon to a specific username, I only need 1 at this point, disable the required logon after you install the .NET Framework Distribution, and some basic drivers added, like the driver for my monitor, video adapter and printer. Any advice on this matter is greatly appreciated, Thanx, ziggy
