Okay, so here's my story I wanted to uninstall symantec antivirus because it was really not userfriendly and i really disliked it. (My Windows Alert showed that i had no Anti Virus). So i uninstalled it. Then i did a system recover (another long story). So when I recovered I thought all was well in Middle Earth , but little did i know this horrible symantec monster comes on. Everytime i delete a file using the delete key or everytime i right-click my recycling bin, Windows installer shows up and tries to install symantec. After a little it'll give me a message stateing "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'SAVCE_9.0.0.1400_AllWin_EN.msp' in the box below." Then when i downloaded the file from these wonderful forums, i thought everything was back to normal, but then Windows Installer went to a different screen stating that i needed the Symantec Antivirus disk so install this package named "Symantec AntiVirus.msi". I dont have the disk because i lost it LONG ago and didn't ever care for it cause it was labeled symantec . Can someone send me this Installation package for version SAVCE_9.0.0.1400 ? I just wanna uninstall this horror. Or if anyone knows other ways they can help me to stop this, please i am desperate Any kind of Help is greatly appreciated .
