  1. Upon booting up from the installation CD, after the F6 screen I get the following message: Line 5106 of the INF files is invalid. Setup cannot continue. Please press any key to exit now. My Asus P4P800 (Intel 865G chipset) was spoilt and I replaced it with an new ASRock P4i65G (also Intel 865G chipset). I thought the new ASRock motherboard has problem so I return to the shop and exchange for anther new one but the problem still persist. I only put in CPU, ram and CD-ROM drive during the bootup. It doesn't matter if I put in my HDD or not. I also use another different DVD-writer drive an a very old CD-ROM drive but nothing change. I tried quite a lot of different settings in BIOS but still can't find a clue. I tried using the original Windows 2000 (with no Service Pack) installation CD and another self-made installation CD (with SP4). Both CDs have been used for many installations before with no problem. I also tried install Windows XP but it just hang after the first screen searching for something. Anyone can give some clues? Thanks in advance for any info.
  2. Do I need to integrate the sata_ide folder too for 32bit WinXP? I follow your guide in 1st post and encountered the same problem as before. But the 6.7 package doesn't come with a PATARAID folder. Anyway, I have make another slipstream with sata_ide integrated but haven't tried it out yet.
  3. You did save my day!! After using the file "nvatabus.inf" from the subfolder PATARAID, my Raid-0 is up and running again. Thank you very much.
  4. Yes! Otherwise the necessary driver NVATABUS.SYS would not be installed and your system would not work after the installation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is quite a discovery for me as I am facing problem installing Windows on Raid with F6. Maybe it is becoz I did not copy nvatabus.inf to the diskette that make the installation fail. Thanks a lot.
  5. Hi, Thanks Fernando for your work, but can you clarify something... nvatabus.inf is only found in this nForce4 folder... IDE\WinXP\PATARAID I want to install SATA RAID which I assume should come from... IDE\WinXP\SATARAID where the only INF file is called nvraid.inf (not nvatabus.inf) Can you clarify what INF and directory I should be using to slipstream drivers for a SATA RAID drive array? Thanks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats right! You have to take the nvatabus.inf file from the folder PATARAID. I will clarify this in my first post. CU Fernando <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So even if I am using SATA Raid I will still need to copy the nvatabus.inf from the PATARAID folder? Thanks.
