  1. Thanks. I obviously need to do a lot of reading before I can even start to ask the right questions. I'll study the GreenMachine link now and experiment.
  2. I felt lucky that it worked as I didn't understand what I was doing. I altered the 82801ER lines to 82801FR entries I found on a web site. So now the 82801ER entries are gone. This is fine for my computer but a friend has a new computer with different SATA drivers. Do I just add lines to the txtsetup.sif related to his drivers? Can this be done with your DriverPack or is that for Windows?
  3. I asked this question in the Software Hangout forum and received an answer. However I'm trying to add multiple SATA drivers to the Ghost 9 CD by using the DriverPack but can't do it. I'd like to add Network drivers too. The Ghost 9 CD originally didn't have my SATA drivers but after editing the txtsetup.sif and adding drivers it now works. Any guidance would be appreciated.
  4. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It's taken 6 months. I have an Intel 82801FR SATA AHCI controller. I edited the txtsetup.sif to [sCSI] iaStor = "Intel® 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller (Desktop ICH6R)" [sourceDisksFiles] iastor.sys = 1,,,,,,3_,4,1 [HardwareIdsDatabase] PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2652&CC_0106 = "iaStor" [sCSI.load] iaStor = iastor.sys,4 I also had to replace iastor.inf and iastor.sys with the most recent files. Now I can see my HD's from the Ghost 9 Recovery Environment without having to Press F6. Many thanks again scankurban.
  5. Sounds promising but I couldn't find anything I could use. Have you done it with Ghost 9?
  6. Good thought but I couldn't get nLite to work with the Ghost 9 files, only with WinXP files. Am I missing something?
  7. How do you add SATA drivers to the Ghost 9 CD so that a floppy isn't required (Press F6)? I've searched through many forums and still haven't found an answer. It can be done easily with BartPE.
