  1. Hello Forum, This is my first post and I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to scripting, so please bear with me. I have a group of users that access an internal website that installs several ActiveX controls (about 7 cab files) before the site will launch for usage. The users must have local admin rights in order for the activex controls to install properly. Well since we are "finally" in the process of restricting admin rights, I have to figure out a way to script this process and package it for SMS 2003. I tried using Wise to capture the before and after changes and create an MSI, but several ICE errors are detected and several dll's won't register correctly. I then thought about the process of how you can take an activex cab file and drag'n'drop it to Internet Explorer to have it load the active x control. I want to try to script this process in a simple batch file, but I'm not sure if this is possible without some kind of vbscript (which I don't know VB). Is this achievable with command line commands, switches, etc? Please advise and TIA
