  1. Windows Media Player

    After a minor crash, am in process of reinstalling/reinitiating programs on my Windows 98 SE Gateway Solo 2500 Notebook, with 64 MB RAM. When trying to launch Windows Media Player, get the error message: An internal application error has occurred. Microsoft prompts me (831430) to reregister jscript.dll and vbscript.dll. If either if these files do not register as expected, I am to extract the missing or damaged system file in Microsoft Windows XP. At this point, Microsoft offers no more help to 98 SE users, as they no longer support the OS. Assistance at this point would be helpful. Thanks, David
