I have a pdf document which I read using Adobe Reader 8. There are different fonts used in the document. Is there any way I can identify these different fonts (as I need to reproduce it in Word)? Does Adobe Reader have any Tool to do this? Or do I have to get Adobe Acrobat Pro 9? Or is there some way I can reconvert the document from pdf back into Word format?

MS Word 2000. When I click on the icon the opening screen (Document 1) is filled with the text of a letter I had saved in My Documents. When I click on icon for NEW Document, the same page filled with text appears. I have searched for Normal.dot using Search, but it does not come up. How do I restore the correct opening template??

My OS is Windows XP Home Edition. Dell Dimension, desktop, one year old. When I run a program called Photofinish (which enhances photographs) the screen goes black for four seconds, then it returns, but the quality and definition of the colours and images is blurred. This is a recent problem when I try to run this program. What could be wrong? How can I correct it? (I have disabled all the startup programs - msconfig - but the problem remains.) I have changed the display settings, but this makes no difference. The problem remains.

Tried this, but makes no difference. By the way, when I close down the program (Photofinish) the colour and definition are restored perfectly.
