  1. Oh and some new udates came out today inlcufing SRP 1. 2. I did know that. But how can i add Sun's Java using your script? Which is really nice by the way!
  3. Is there any way to install the Sun JRE along with SP1a? As im a newbie to this whole thing can somebody please explain me how to do this? MfG.Eversor
  4. Is there anyway to slipsptrean the Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft Windows XP (KB826939)? or does it only replace the several hotfixes?
  5. I saw this thread before and took a look but i have to say that i don't quite understand your second version of your batch file. I guess i'll wait for your next release that hopefully solves the mdac problem you encountered. Good luck with this. And if you do release it could you perhaps add a quick-how-to-guide for this as im kinda new to this. That would be great! MfG.Eversor edited: corrected typos and grammar
  6. First i want to say hi to you guys as im new to this forum! I lurked arround some time and read the windows xp unattended guide, now i decided to join you and ask you some questions. I admit it: I like it to reinstall windows. Just to keep my system as clean as possible. But now with all these Blasters and Lovesans all arround i really want to tighten up security of my pc. I always did install all the hotfixes, but the way i did after every install was a pain in the ***. I always re-visited windows-update site and downloaded the whole package., because i couldn't keep track of it. So how do you guys keep track of all the hotfixes and even more important how do i install these hotfixes easily with a fresh install . I know that the way to go is to make an unattended installation. But how can i tell in which order i should install them and how can i keep this unattended cd state of the art the easy way ( i don't want to write some lines of code in a batch file just to install another hotfix. i know im lazy) MfG.Eversor P.S. Looking forward to be part of MSFN...
