  1. And now it for some odd reason stopped working again. I Just don't get it. The "Safely Remove Hardware" IS BACK!!! Cheers
  2. Thank you very much, that worked wonderful. I tried the first one myself before i read your post, but that wasn't satisfying, there were still those arrows, the second way out worked much better. Cheers
  3. How do I remove the "Safely Remove Hardware Icon" in the notification area of the taskbar? It's there all the time, and only if I safely removes the hardware that it warns me about will it go away, but I don't wanna remove my hardware, I'm using it. Besides it's there again as soon as i plug the hardware in. Cheers
  4. Okay. Even though i have followed the "2003 server to workstation guide" and stopped the security thing in explorer. ? Well then how do i get it turned off
  5. When using "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" I can't open folders in the right part of the screen, if I wan't to open a folder I have to use the folder tree in the left side, if I try double clicking on a folder in the right part i just opens a "Command From Here Window", how do I get it to open the folder normally, just as if I double clicked it in the tree to the left. Another thing that bothers me, is that when using IE6 in W2K3 I can't get it to show the names of the sites I access in the top panel. An example is, that this site is shown as "http://www.msfn.org" instead of "MSFN Forums", in the top panel in Internet Explorer. This is a bit annoying since I can't see which sites I use, when viewing the explorer site names in the start panel, because all I can see is http://www... How do I fix these two problems? Cheers
  6. It wasn't the hardware acceleration that was the problem, since already changed that before i tried to mess with the resolution, but anyhow, it works fine now. Thank you
  7. Sorry, but how the h*** should i know what other members are called. I've always used Player1. as a nick. And what difference does it do? Thanks for the warm welcome! Anyway i found out my self, so...
  8. First some specs, then the real problem. Specs: Monitor = Hercules Prophetview 720 15" TFT Monitor Driver = Hercules Prophetview 27.10.2003 Graphic Card = Hercules ATI Radeon 9200SE 128MB AGP Graphic Driver = ATI Catalyst 5.6 OS = Windows 2003 Build 3790 DX = DirectX 9.0C Problem: I can't change the resolution to more than 800x600 in W2K3. Normally in Win2K I can crank the screen resolution up to 1024x768, but in Win2K3 my monitor just have a turn off when I give it a go for 1024x768. Why? Have anyone experienced this problem before? Is it my GFX og my monitor thats the problem? Cheers
