ok i got over the ntdll.dll problem by creating the image with nero, but now i get a different error - The application or DLL \??\D:\i386\KBDUS.DLL is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette. any ideas people on how to fix this? ps, the disk installs fine to my normal system

must be the image im creating caus running the virtual pc to capture off me dvdrom disc i created its working ok at the moment

ok just a little off topic - sorry i keep trying to run virtual pc, i create me iso and load it to the cd on the virtual pc no probs. i reset it, it starts to run windows setup and i get this error - Stop: coooo221 unknown hard error \systemroot\system32\ntdll.dll with blue screen (in the virtual screen) my comp is all ok just the virtual screen, the thing is the disc installs perfectly from my hardware, any ideas???

just on another note, i found even though i had added them to be included it didnt integrate 4 critical updates - WindowsMedia9-KB819639-x86-ENU - obveously because media player 9 aint installed at this point WindowsXP-KB821557-x86-ENU WindowsXP-KB329441-x86-ENU WindowsXP-KB824105-x86-ENU now this could just have been me, let me know how u get on.

is he going to update them again soon, as i used the script to incorporate the critical updates and it worked like a gem, it does sit at 13 mins to go for a while longer than the norm but does work

SOOPAFLY - thanx for the input ill take a peek AaronXP - i dl the full package in one hit 22meg i think and that puts the ati dirvers in a folder inside the directory if that helps

erm it came off this site somewhere lol, i dont remeber exactly where, ill change it to the one u sugested, as to the control panel i was just testing to see if it would work in any way as it doesnt seem to install any of the drivers out of there any ideas why?

ok i want the install to auto pick up the catalyst drivers 3.7 and control panel and install them, ive added the paths to the folder where the inf files are etc but it just wont install em, any help please. Also i tried to get it to install the via hyperions drivers, i added loads of paths to various folders but no joy there either. ok here goes - i have the prep folder here- C:\prep with no spaces in the name then in there - 1 2 3 4 5 bin files fixes tmp do.cmd log.txt mtee still quitting out with no log? edited, the spelling mistake was mine not in me file though d0 is infact do.cmd

in the first folder "1" i have hotfixes and also in "2" ? thanx for the quick reply

ok when i run the latest do.cmd it just quits and does nothing, the log file it creates has nothing in it????
