I need a version of WMI SDK that is compatible with the Visual C 6.0 . The currently offered WMI SDK , from the microsoft support site, isn't compatible with VC6.0 anymore. Can any one tell me where i can find such a version?

Upon installing McAfee firewall i got a message wich asked me if i want to disable the win sp2 security center fw. After i agreed the default fw was disabled and, and this is the art that interest me, in the win security center in the fw section windows recognized the McAfee fw as installed and running .... I want to make some modification to my fw installer so it to have the same behaviour as the McAfee installer. I want that the win security center to recognize my firewall as beeing installed and running . I know it must be something related with the windows registry system but i donn't know what.. Can yo help me?

I want to disable the default windows firewall and install a new firewall( third party) . Could this new firewall be registred as the windows default firewall? what needs to be modified in windows for such a modifaction?
