  1. Changing default Boot screen

    I have slipstreamed SP2 into my XP Pro and trimmed it to an amazing size of 411MB and it works just about fine. Now I would like to change the default wallpaper bliss.bmp and also the bootscreen. I searched the entire XP CD to find these default wallpapers but couldnt find them. I would like to know how to go about this. Next question is I modified the ntoskrnl.exe with Resource Hacker and replaced bmp 1 with my own 640x480x4 bit file (16 colors). Next in the HexViewer opened ntoskrnl.exe and replaced the color palette of the default boot screen with my own above mentioned file. I tried to boot with this modified kernel file but could'nt do it, I want a little help in this, is my approach right or is there any other way to go about it?

    Hai everybody this is KournikovaBug, my name, my avtaar and my signature suggest you that I am the greatest fan of Anna Kournikova on this planet ..... well as far as I think. The other thing that fascinates me is Technology. For the last couple of days I've been browsing this site and I was overwhelmed by looking at the topics you guys discuss on this forum and I could'nt stop myself from registering. Tweaking windows is something that has caught my mind last month and I am seriously working on it, for the last couple of days I searched this forum and I got a lot of info, I still need help which I am sure I'll get here
