is there any program that can be in a server and program should be in client if they want to write cd they have to use the cd writer in the server is it possible.

I am not looking for illigal programs I am ready to buy softwares for roland cutter, just need the software name which works in xp. that is all

the program which I am having now is Sign mate which is ridiculas program and it uses w98. I want something in xp the model number is roland cx 500. Plotter/cutter. This uses lpt1 to connect to system. I have a system for this with network, is there any possiblity to use my xp to plot/cut thing using a supported cutting program please let me know. Hai, I have done networking and active directory settings in w2000 but 2003 is new to me. I have installed one system with windows 2003 and others with windows xp. This w2003 system is going to be the server. My network is connected by a 3com wireless gateway which has its own dhcp server. So now the only thing I want to do is to configure this to be a file server, printer server and email server. Each system has it own shared folder, in windows 2003 I heard that there one new things called active folder sharer something which shares the files in other system with security cause I want some of the users not to use my files not even for viewing them. Second thing my printer is a xerox phaser 7300n which has its own dhcp service. So is it possible for me to make the w2003 server use a dhcp instead of making all those things use dhcp. And is it possible to share email in head office through vpn if they don't have a exchange server.But they have their own domain like mohsin@company.com . So anybody can help with this. In Bcdw It is possible to boot iso files and ima,img,wbt files and it is possible to graphical menu, the only disadvantage is in graphical menu mouse will not work. if any one want a template that is a sample file with structure, ask me and let me know where to upload.

I am working abroad ,( i am working in kuwait and live in india) , so whenever Come home for vacation i used to bring a harddisk with data to tranfer my work at home( too much data so only i prefer hard disk). before no problem but nowadays when bring and plug them in it is dead, not working, giving click clack sound. Is this problem due to baggage scan, any way to prevent the harddisk . I need help on this. And also want to know is that there is any software to compress or make double space for dvd 4.7gb. I see it in some of movie dvd's and software dvd's that data is about 8.5 gb but the dvd 4.7gb only(no double layer). Please some in the forum help me with this.
