Thanks for the assistance. The reason I'm wanting to restrict access to the web. Is first I want to learn all I can about the os and what it can / can't do. Secondly with it being a home network. I want to be able to keep my kids from getting out on the web. When there grounded. Thanks will try that free proxy software out. )

Hello all I'm a new user of this forum. I'm running Server 2003 Enterprise. And have very little experence with this version of server. What I'm wanting to do is quite simply setup my server to allow the local network xp clients to access the web. I've spent the last several hours trying to find information on how to do this. After 20 years of working with computers I'm sure the solution to what I'm looking for is so simple I'm just overlooking it. This is a home network. And in time I want to be able to restrict specific machines from getting to the web. But currently I'd be happy to just get them so they can. If anyone has information to share on how to achieve this would be greatly apprecitave. Thanks.
