  1. Can Windows 2003 Server read partitions with 256k cluster sizes? If so, what utility can I use to do that outside of Windows? Partiton Magic won't do it.

If it can't be read, how about 64k clusters? Again, what can I use to make that outside of Windows? I can do it after installing and from within Windows, but I want to do it before.

    Thanks.

  2. I figured it out. After installing the drivers and rebooting, I have to hit F8 and select the "Enable VGA Mode". This gets me past where it blue-screened and into Windows. From there I go into "Troubleshoot" and move the Acceleration all the way to the right. Then, I reboot normally and all is well.

For whatever reason, before installing the vid drivers, the Acceleration was already all the way to the right, but it gets turned down after installing the vid drivers & rebooting. Since it's down, upon reboot Windows blue screens and I was screwed. The "Enable VGA Mode" saved me on reboot, and allowed me to make the change.

By the way, I never had to change any DX settings during the entire process--only the Accelerator bar in Troubleshooting needed to be changed.

  3. :) As soon as I install any video driver, upon reboot, I get a bsd with "ati2dvag.dll" and "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA".

I've tried different video drivers, with DX9, and w/o DX9.

I was using Windows XP with all the same components, so I know that the hardware is good.

    Any suggestions?
