[No mouse cursor visible]

I reinstalled xp straight of the disc(no nliting) and i can see the cursor, then installed my nlite disc and its not visible. The strange thing is if i right click on the remote i get the right click menu then move the mouse and right click again, again i get the right click menu. So the mouse is clearly working its just i cant see the cursor. My nlite disc had mouse cursor on it so its not that .

Can someone please throw some suggestions this way?

After some testing i figured out its the "Synaptics PS2 Port TouchPad" 8.3.4 driver for my laptop, when integrated i get the problem specified above without it i don't. Does anyone know why this could be happening with this specific driver?

Title says it all i have removed windows update but still have the windows update link on top of the start menu, i have got a tweak to remove it. I use to put it in nlhive.inf but its no long available to do so where do i put it now?

I just integrated driver for my laptop, PC and htpc onto my nlite disc and when tested in vmware player the mouse and keyboard do not work. Before integrating the driver i tested my config in vmware player and it worked perfectly its just when the drivers were integrated the problems occurred.

Am i missing something? Thanks.

Thanks siom for the tip, my nlite config confirmed .net 1,2 & 3 were integrated however only .net 1 & 2 are listed where you suggested i look. It would seem it failed.

I got RogueSpear's .net 1,2 & 3 packs and tested on vmware player in add and remove only 1 & 2 show up. Does anyone know how i can confirm that 3 is installed?

Im using the same config on my desktop and i can also see my mouse cursor but on my htpc ive not got a mouse pugged in so i cant see the cursor. When i plug in a little laptop mouse in the cursor appears.

On my HTPC i use a Imon remote for control however i cant see the mouse cursor, im assuming its because i removed "mouse cursors", does anyone know how i can reinstall them?

For some strange reason i keep getting a pop-up at start saying my password will expire in x amount of days and do i want to change it now. If i change the password i eventually get it again, any suggestions to what is causing this?

My set-up was created with nLite 1.2 RC back in October.

I remove wmp then install wmp lite so i can still stream wmv through Firefox, is it possible to have 2 wmp removal options. One to completely remove and a second to remove everything but what is needed for streaming?

Thanks for the explanation Spooky, i guess its good it wont die after a few installs on different machines but that really sucks not being able to install it on both my laptop and desktop simultaneously. Are you or anyone else aware of a way i can do this(nothing illegal), i mean can i purchase vista for my desktop and buy a cheaper extended license allowing me to install on my laptop without buying 2 complete fully priced copies?

Does anyone know how i can remove only selected games rather then just inbox games and premium inbox games(i.e. select some from each)?

Also i want to keep DVD Maker but remove Movie Maker but in vlite they are one, will they be separated in a future release?
