After thinking about it, I believe it is the "Run as Secondary User" option. we'll find out in the future i guess. Edit: Anyone know if this option is able to be re-added once installed. I'm going to assume it is not.

I don't recall exactly which option it was, but i removed something that is causing errors for me. I have security setup for certain directories, under which only the single admin account can bypass. Anyways, when I copy things to from this directory, Total Commander says it can't do it on the current user, this is normal. It then prompts to do it as an alternate user, in which I use the admin account. In the past this has worked fine, but i inadvertently removed something causing this feature not to operate. I want to say it has something to do with fast user switching, terminal services, or something along those lines. I probably removed it because I'm the only user on this computer. I do recall seeing this warning in nLite in the past. Anyone happen to know which option caused this? Thank you for your time. Edit: Changed topic.

Should of done this on the original post, but here is a screen shot of the menu I am referring to. As you can see, all the icons load up fine. In past nLite installations, i purposely remove those icons, i just don't recall how and why it is not working on this version.

Example: 1. Right-click on the Desktop. 2. Highlight "New >" 3. You see options to create new Folder/Shortcut/Bitmap/Text... and so on. Currently, all the icons with the exception of "Shortcut" load up. If I recall correctly, nLite 1.3 Final had an option to prevent those icons from being displayed, thus faster/smoother shell menu. I just completed a nLite 1.4 Beta installation, and come to see the icons are being displayed. I doubt this feature was removed. Has the feature's phrasing changed between versions? I used my last nLite 1.3 Final configuration files with nLite 1.4 Beta, and nothing that I noticed seemed to be displaced other then newer features not being selected. I know from experience on in the past, when transferring configuration files between versions, some items would not transfer correctly due to phrasing being changed, thus nLite would not make the correct modification, and leave the setting tweak as default. Any input about this issue is greatly appreciated, as well as any alternatives to resolve this now that installation is completed. Thank You! I recently nLite'd again, but forgot to change the usbport.sys rate. Anyone able to upload a nLite'd usbport.sys v5.1.2600.3020 rated at 1ms/1000MHz for Windows XP Pro 32bit. Thanks

it's never really a good idea to run any programs while a defragmentation is occurring. many files will be locked during the defrag.

What does ".NET Framework 3.0" require to operate properly? I have had a few problems with this in the past. ".NET Framework 3.0" (full installation "dotnetfx3.exe", not web installation) would fail to complete the install after freshly reformatting. I suspect that I have removed or modified something while nLite'ing the past few times. If anyone is able to shed some light on this subject, please do. This is the most recent configuration, which was used on Windows XP Pro SP2 VLK w/ RyanVM Update Pack. ive been trying to install KODAK EASYSHARE Software 6.x for a G600 printer dock on an nLited install. ive left anything to do with printers & cameras alone... the software doesnt even install on this latest nlite. it installs and starts on an older verion, but doesnt detect when i hook the camera up... here's my config if any1 happens to know where i went wrong, or also has the same problem.. thanks Last_Session.ini

i dont know if this has been an inconvience to anyone else, but i am suggesting shortcut to the create/write image portion of nLite. right now, in order to write a previous image, you need to partially trick nlite in order to get to the write image portion. im just suggesting a quick and easy shortcut, preferably at the begining of the program so i can just click it, sends me to the write image portion, and bam, done in 3-5min rather then extracting disc image and tricking nlite just so i can burn the iso... i know, of course i can use any other program to write the iso image, but im lazy, and find it an inconvience when i need to burn a image i saved prior... anyways, no big deal, just would be a cool feature Post edited.
