  1. Not sure if anyone will be able to help me here, but I was wondering if there is an option on MS Word 2003 where I could essentially create a library item (or something to that effect) which in my case, would include a list of branch names and / or branch addresses. I maintain a document library, and instead of having all kinds of documents with lists that need to be edited individually, I would like to be able to edit a source document, and have that change be reflected on all documents using this item. Anybody have an idea of how that could be done? Thanks.
  2. I don't know any VB, but I need to do something in Word using VB. Basically, I need a command button (there will be 8 initially, going up to 10) where you click on the command button, and an image displays in a set place. When the document is printed, the buttons can't show as this is a member mailing. Anybody have any ideas about how to do this? This will be used for displaying the signature of a branch manager without having to get them to sign masses of letters. My version of word is MS Office Word 2003 Standard Edition. Thanks in advance.
  3. Does anyone know of a program that is out there that will take a .pdf document, and open it up so changes can be made, or the contents of the file copied into a .doc format? This would make my life a lot easier, and save the company I work for a lot of money. Thanks.
  4. Quick question for you guys. I am the Webmaster of my company's intranet, and in our Forms Library and throughout the rest of the intranet, I link to forms created and maintained in MS Word/Excel. In doing that, when a user clicks on the link, the form opens up in a new window using target="_blank". However, the document opens up in Word, but using IE as the main program with Excel/Word underneath. This limits the functions that can be performed by users on that particlar file. At present, the users have to take the file, save it to their local drive, then open Word/Excel, and open the file from there in order to have full functions. Basically, what I want to know is if there is any kind of an HTML tag that would tell IE to open the file up in the actual program instead of underneath IE. Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. CCC.
