  1. I cant' believe that ANYONE is STUPID enough o put all that high end equipment into a POS Gigabyte board! HINT If your motherboard sucks, it pulls everything else down with it! Pay the 40 more n get a descent board (ASUS, ABIT or MSI)! I work for a OEM and we return 75% more Gigabyte boards than Asus ones......
  2. Hi guys, I've seen several people mention they have DSL working on a multiboot but i can't get it working. The closes i have found is using memdisk /KNOPPIX/boot.Img on the syslinux version of DSL and it says 'cannot find KNOPPIX file system'. I have copied the boot image, the knoppix and the lost&found folder to the Cd. I've tried the normal DSL using chain /dsl.dat which gave me the same error as well as /boot/isolinux/isolinux.bin. Any ideas people? I'm attempting to help friends break the MS chain Thanks in advance.
  3. Looking to create my first multi OS win/linux DVD But can't get cd shell so am kind of stuck in the starting blocks!. Please help.
  4. MY unattended cd works great on the whole, but any new user added once installed populates the startmenu with 13 desktop.ini's and its a pain in the A$$ to deleate them all. anyone any suggestions as to what may cause this or any way i can ammend the 'default' profiles (as my default used does not have these files). TYIA CS
  5. I have zone alarm installing fine but the problem i have now is that after a fresh install the first popup i see is windows complaining it is out of date. Is there anyway i can import updatated files and if so what fiels need to be copied to the new install? TYIA CS
  6. First off Bashrat, thank u for your time and effort with the driverpacks. I've not yet tested my cd on a live network yet, but almost all the drivers I need seem to be supported. For 9 machine home home lan users like myself its a godsend I was wondering however if you planned a printer driverpack? its the only set of drivers that dont' seem to be supported and as a epson user (gotta love that cheap ink ) who also runs a lexmark AIO (good scanner/copier for the kids ) and a HP 660 (Ink price nazis ) on my lan its a pain in the A$$ to set them all up on their host machines then have the installer run on all the others. If i could save even their initial install time i would be most greatful TYIA. CS
  7. Win XP Pro. Please help! My totally patched cd is ready just in time for MS to add more band aids to the worst secure operating system they have ever realeased........ *mumbles about the good old days with win 2k trundling along fine without 9 million patches to install and looking like a kid drew it in pizza hut wiv their kiddie meal crayons*
