I can't see an update button after right clicking somewhere in Network Connections Which components cause this "Acquiring network address"? I couldn't find info in nLite about this. Next time I will try not to remove the Network Location Awareness service, until then - any help is much appreciated

I have this stupid problem: The network is working but when some PC tries to connect to my computer, I get this icon trying to connect forever. The other PC has no such problem and is able to browse the LAN and surf in Internet. All PCs have a static IP address. After reading this: http://www.tdaxp.com/archive/2005/02/05/ac...rk_address.html it could be because I removed the Network Location Awareness service. I set netbios to Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the TCP/IP settings (advanced, wins tab), still no luck. Any way to install it again?

Can someone else confirm KB929969 is working fine with nLite 1.3 RC2 after slipstreaming IE7 on WinXP first? Here is my issue: 1. Slipstreaming IE7 - no problem 2. Direct integration of KB929969 - no problem 3. Installing Windows - no problem 4. Windows Update says KB929969 is not installed - WTF? WinXP Pro SP2 nLite 1.3 RC2 Thanks in advance

nLite 1.3 RC2 WinXP Pro SP2 1. Windows is a bit sluggish after slipstreaming IE7 (no such problem with IE6) 2. I integrate KB929969 but after install it's still on Windows Update. Any ideas?
