My recent experience: after spending two days replacing explorer by BBLean, the benefits I got are: minimalistic appearance suiting my preference, saving 3 MB of RAM from removing explorer and systray from msconfig>startup, applications including FireFox 1.0.4 and FreeDwonLoadManager 1.7 have crashed a few times today! 3.. Would modifying Windows 98 SE using components of newer Windows DEFINITELY--from experience--stabilise WIn 98 SE? 4... Does anyone know how to enable "SHutdown, retart in Ms-Dos..." using Blackbox?
