Hi, I've got an OEM slipstreamed installation (which has not come with my computer) on which I succesfuly used my licence number (which has come with my computer). The problem is with activation - it says my licence number is not valid. What can I do about it? Thanks, V.

Hi, how can I force windows to defaultly use my style.theme - I tried to put in $$\Resources\Themes\ file "Windows Classic.theme", but it doesn't get default anyway - during logon - there is the real windows classic scheme... About local settings - how can I set my timezone and keyboard? I put in winnt.sif KeyboardLayout = "Czech (QWERTY)" but it doesn't seem to be working. I mean - after installation, the default keyboard is still English (US).

Hi, I'd like to export all the icons from one .dll and import it to another. But I am not able to do it with resource hacker. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any other software, which is able to do it?

Currently working on my Thinkpad T41p with WXP SP2 CORPORATE (not OEM) and with drivers from the internet. Haven't got any problem. (Anyway, my laptop does not have a fingerprint thing). So, I replace in setupp.ini the pid from 55703270 to 55703OEM. But. I am not sure, for which SP was my licence number made - I would expect for SP0. And now, I am not sure - if the PID must be for SP2 (which is the installation) or for the Licence Number....

So I modified the setupp.ini and it doesn't seem to be accepting the number. Is there anything else I can try?

Yes, I decided to change the style(using 3rd party application), but I can't export that classic style - I would use stylebuilder, but there is no classic style msstyle. And I am not very keen to repaint it whole from the basics...

But the problem is - no-one has made classic window scheme as a msstyle ///-; And I don't want anything else. Just slight change /-;

Alright, I thought so, but I wanted to be certain, that that is the only possibility. But to remove description of run programs - it is not quite enough to have stylexp - is it? Thanks

I bought this laptop secondhand (or thirdhand...) and there was not the oem xps. Just formatted hdd. So if it was locked to bios - it is not anymore... The other thing is - if I called there and get the CD's, I wouldn't use it anyway, because I want to make my OWN installation and I don't want any partition as I don't have any free space on HDD.

The thing I am after is that I want to force my windows to think that they are OEM. In that case, they should accept my OEM serial... Or not?

That is it - I don't have OEM CD and I don't have a licence for the retail CD. That's why I'd like to create my own OEM CD.... So that is not quite possible?

I read somewhere, that it is caused of OEM installation - the number does not work with the other installation. Is that possible to enable OEM installation in winnt.sif and to be able to use my licence number? Or is there any other solution? Thanks

Hi, I am just playing with winnt.sif and nLite, and I am still not sure, how it does work with partitions. The problem is - you can set it not to do anything with partitions, but if you want to do something - you can't set what. Hi, I've just started useing nLite and I do like it so much. But I am little bit afraid of the installation, because I do not know, how does it exactly work (I mean easy installation without user access). There are several modes, but I do not know, which means what. In concret, I've got my drive separated into two partitions -10gb for system and the rest for my stuff. How can I make nLite to format the first partition and install the system into? Is there a possibility to remove a keyboard? I mean - I am czech and there are two types of czech keyboard - qwertz & qwerty - qwertz is default, which I really don't like - if it was possible to change it....
