Hi Thauzar, I just came across this thread when Googling on the phrase "power calibration error", and joined the forum as a result. Anything more to report yet? I've got a brand new WinXP machine, fast, with lots of RAM. First burn worked fine, second one gave me the "power calibration error". I'm using Nero Express 6. i) I'd like to try the built-in WinXP option, but I'm new to WinXP and didn't know it had a built-in CD burn facility. I couldn't find anything about it in Help. How do I get at it? ii) I had wondered whether a screensaver kicking in might cause problems, and I have read elsewhere that it can do. Any opinion on that? Andy
