  1. Thanks for response. I pulled down software as you sugested and followed instructions. ME will not install this driver. Message is "Can't install to your sysem". I don't really know what I am doing, but I followed procedure.
  2. I know next to nothing about software function. I have ME 4.90.3000. I just bought a digital camera, and followed instructions to plug in camera USB cord and turn on camera that system could recognize it. When I did that, I got standard 4 messages: 1. Olympus C740UZ USB device 2. Windows has found new hardware... 3. IDE/ATI/USB tape drive 4. Windows is installing the software... Then I immediately get error: "There is a problem with a system file. NTMAPHLP (02) + 00000002 to '004F', service 1" I don't have the foggiest what to do. I have spent several hours trying blindly. My system is currently at the status it was prior to getting the camera. The file (ntmaphlp.pdr) is present in the system\iosubsys dir. It is not to be found on the ME CD provided by Dell with the PC when I bought it a couple of years ago. I don't know where to find a copy of the file to try a reload of that file. I found a couple of people that had the same problem. Reloads of ME on their systems did not solve the problem, and they finally just gave up. I do not have the specs to go to XP. Any help would be much appreciated!
