thanks for the reply. I installed netbeui. Unfortunately that hasnt done the trick. any other suggestions??

Well I have problem sharing files from my computer (Xp home sp2) to other computers on the network. I have run the network wizards and disabled the firewalls. But other computers still get and error " you might not have the permission to use this network resource. Access denied" I am able to access files on other computers on the network but not one is able to access my computer. any help is greatly appreciated. thx.
