  1. Icon coruption in 16-bit mode

    I could get help with a problem I have with the icons in XP pro. I have tried the Microsoft support site, but cant find what Im looking for. The problem is that the icons on my desktop are displayed as if they were in 256 colours only, even though I have set the depth of the screen to 16-bit. THe background is displayed in 16-bit colour, and everything is ok, its just the icons. This started after using Tweak UI, by using the "repair icons" feature. But after doing so, icons have appeared different. The icons are normal in 32-bit, but for performance reasons, I prefer to keep it at 16-bit. Anyone got any ideas?????
