  1. Problem in Restart

    Using XP Pro SP3... computer will not boot up in Restart function.. Can turn off comp. and power at power consul and then turn it all on and it will reboot, but if I try and reboot function the motherboard screen comes up and just stops there...This has caused some problems when installing some programs or whatever that requires a reboot in the installation process.Could this be a Bios or a registry problems.....Computer seems to be relatively clean of Virus or Spyware.....Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.....Thank You...

    Tried to repair my Windows XP Pro SP1 (using installation disc and the repair function option on it)....asked for Administrator's Password...did not use one when I installed it.....any way of getting around this or is there a special password to access this function.Thank You.......
