havent tried yet..... i made another one from scratch.... and see if this works... next step dont remove anything....... and see what happens

ok i have removed that with the same result though so basically the only thing i have running on the setup is adobe 7 some security updates from microsoft including the high mat thing. msn 7 basically all microsoft trying to slim the possibilities down.... has nlite itself ever caused anything like this? i also removed the driver packs and started fresh with a new setup and i get the same thing

the only thing i can think of that has cd burning is itunes..... i basically have an unattended with all the sp's and itunes..... have you run across this with itunes at all or could it be something with the windows install? i used nlite and removed a few unessential items

Ok all bear with me, this is my first unattended install..... everything install fine but after reboot when everything is said and done and i am in windows i get this error "Windows Successfully loaded the device driver but cannot find the hardware device (Code 41)" and then i go to driver details it says IDE\CDROMQSI_CDRW/DVD_SBW242c_________us85__\5&1c4c23A3&0&0.0.0 i have done a little research on this and tried this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and removed the upper and lower filters..... my question is i don't want to do this every time i try to do an install can someone help me
