  1. Delayed Welcome Screen

    Does anybody has a solution how to get rid of a delay of the welcome screen when starting XP? I have expirienced this after applying a lot of tweaks for the performance. When I startup windows now, the blue welcome screen rests there for some 30 seconds until I finally reach the desktop where everything works smooth and quick. Since I am the only user on this PC the box for showing the welcome screen isn't enabled when checking user acounts. So I couldn't fix it this way. Anybody expirienced the same or has any hint? Thanx!
