ok, I guess its time to answer my own question, so hopefully it will help someone in the future ... First of all I would like just to post the letter that I recieved from a WFS Pro support service, Mr. Andrew in particular (thanks a lot )... So, here is the letter: "When your computer access the internet via a router, it doesn't connect to the internet directly so the computer only has local IP address - that's why WFS Pro can only suggest the local IP address to you. The local IP address can only work on the LAN and can not be used on the internet. So you need to find the internet IP address of the router and tell others the internet IP. If you have a router, you need to config the virtual server of the router to open the port of WFS Pro (open port 100 for 192.168.2.5). If WFS Pro runs on port 80, please open port 80, if WFS Pro runs on port 100, please open port 100. Please refer to: http://www.wfshome.com/faqs.htm#q4 Then please visit http://www.backupsoft.net/myip.php to find your internet IP address. Suppose that your local IP is 192.168.2.5 and the internet IP of your router is 217.1.1.1, the port number is 100. Then the URL of your computer will be: http://217.1.1.1:100, not http://192.168.2.5:100 *Note: Do not use http://192.168.2.5:100 - local IP address can not work on the internet. If your operating system is Windows XP, you may need to config the firewall of Windows XP. Please visit this page to learn how to config the firewall of Windows XP: http://www.wfshome.com/faqs.htm#xp Best Regards, Andrew LionMax Software" Now, I can say, that after this answer in 5 minutes the first pictures was already downloaded by my friend from my ftp ) ... Now the program functions, the router is still in use too ;o) ... I didnd do anything with DMZ, although I configured the virtual server (in the NAT 'catalog' in my router) as was suggested above. The router firewall is off (and, mention again that having service pack one on my xp - I have no firewall from mycrosoft )... Again thanks a lot to Mr.Andrew for his help, and good luck for all of you in configuring WFS Pro or similar programs. ciao
