1) Apply security policies in case of Nt mach like 2000 , XP Pro through secpol.msc
2) Keep good antivirus sofware and keep the Singnatures up to date
3) Install Anti-Spyware Tools that detect Hijack's entery in registry
forex spware blaster from www.javacoolsoftware.com, Trojan Scan, Spy sweeper 3.02, Ad-aware from Lavasoft
4) Keep complex passwords so that one could not guess it easily.

You might be using the classic interface (plain look) of windows.
The way to get back is
start > settings > taskbar & menu click on that menu bar.
after invoking. Select startmenu tab from the box. click on startmenu radio button that's it.

hi every one i 'hve come after a long time . well now no one is aware the Dot Net frame work is avaible on the Windows Xp Professional SP2 cd.
after splistreaming Windows Xp service pack2 we get diffrent folders. For ex:
the new ones added are cmpnents.
in this folder there is netfx i386 directory and in this directory lies the hidden .NetFramework scaled down version. One can only see this folder after successfull intergeartion of wxpsp2 . So no need to download the file
Just decompress the filename netfx and install the framework. Ms still has made a mistake that it doe'nt execute when clicking on setup.exe app.

During the blue screen phase of XP pro install I get a error message saying banana.ani would't copy. It's not that big of a deal seeing as this is just a file that turns your mouse pointer into a banana and we can skip it easily. This however makes it attended. Is there any way we can tell windows to automatically skip that file?
if i am not wrong you can do this by editing DOSNET.INF located in i386 directory . when run from dos mode browse the file look for [CopyFiles]
below that BANANA.AN_ set value to 0

no need if u do'nt have a cd-rw few steps.
1) always to test any operating system remeber to test before implementing in a production enviorment
2) use tools to create iso image for ex- UltraISO,ISOMagic etc.
3) to test iso image use tools such as Virtual PC 2004 SP1 from Microsoft or other alternative could be VMWare Workstation 5.0.
4) When u use these tools u might or i can say if some problem arises can be found
5)with the ur time of formating the entire system + Trial and error policy.
