I have finally found the problem. It has to do with Internet Explorer (6.013, that comes with win2k3) not launching the JVM properly. If anyone experiences the same problem, the simplest solution would be to use netscape instead for the time being.

try going to this site 2 or 3 times (it should launch the java web start in your taskbar) and see if you get the blue screen: http://broadband.optusnet.com.au thanks

Has anyone ever got a blue screen after launching a webpage that requires java? I don't get the restart all the time but it is a dam annoying when it does. Any suggestions for a resolution?

I've taken zone alarm off and just using the Win2k3's firewall ...but ocasionally i still get the blue screen This time when I check the event viewer. The error after the following event: "Unable to produce a minidump file from the full dump file." Does anyone what this mean and how to fix it?

Has anyone experienced the blue screen of death occassionally when running the latest version of Zone alarm and win server 2003? I predict the cause is zone alarm because when i reboot the comptuer and check the event viewer, I get the Error symbol for the "True Vector Engine". Also, it only happens occasionally when I use the internet...my browswer is IE 6.x by the way, but don't think that is likely to be the cause
