  1. Hello everyone, I've been hassling with this problem for about a day now. I'm trying to run a silent install of Firefox 1.0.2 on Windows XP Pro and would like to set the proxy settings during the installation. There is a section in the config.ini file for that feature where you can provide Proxy Server, Proxy Port, Proxy User, and Proxy Password values. The process runs fine, the browser is installed without any user interaction, however the Proxy Server value is not set. It is interesting to note that the Proxy Port value IS set. Below are the entries from the config.ini file : [Dialog Advanced Settings] Show Dialog=TRUE Title=Firefox Setup - Advanced Settings Message0=If your Internet connection requires a proxy server, enter your server name and port information. If your Internet connection doesn't require a proxy server, leave the fields blank. Proxy Server=192.168.2.4 Proxy Port=3128 Proxy User= Proxy Password= ; Use Protocol accepts only two options: ; FTP ; HTTP ; Default is FTP if key is not set. Use Protocol=HTTP ; Use Protocol Settings key shows or hides the ; Use FTP/Use HTTP radio buttons in the Download Dialog. ; Default value is ENABLED unless DISABLED is specified. Use Protocol Settings=ENABLED ; Controls the radio buttons visibility ; Default value is TRUE Show Protocols=TRUE Thank you in advance for any kind of input on this issue.
