  2. He may be having a "major life problem", as you said, BeenThereB4. However, I've reviewed many of the postings on this forum, and there appears to be a consistent pattern of him not responding to people in a timely manner--and for no apparent reason. So, I'm not really buying it. If I had to guess, he's probably burnt out and taking a hiatus; which is fine, except his Web site and his method of getting his software to the end-user (and possible paying customer) gives the appearance that he is actively involved in a business -- which simply isn't the case. If GreenMachine knows he isn't going to have time to respond (which is completely evident by many of the postings within the forum), then he needs to make his software available for download (like virtually everyone other software application out there in the world today!). I'm confident he would sell more of his product this way, rather than how he's doing it now. It's very hard to get someone to buy your software when they can't try it, nor can they get ahold of anyone who is willing to help. I'd bet he's losing a lot more paying clients than he's gaining with this type of behavior.
  3. I think if the developer was serious about getting commercial paying customers, he would reply sooner than this. I've been waiting for more than two weeks, and for what...?...for a username and password to see if I want so spend money on this program. I would think if you (meaning the developer) wanted my money, you'd be a little more proactive in getting back to potential customers. After all, that's what a business does for its customers, right? The "Email me and I'll get back with you later" scheme, in itself, is completely overboard; then, as if to add insult to injury, assuming you choose to comply with the highly unusual request, you get no response for a very long time (if ever??). And before anyone asks, yes, I've checked and re-checked my requests (notice the plural on requests) to make sure ALL the information was there, and in proper order. As far as I can tell, it's a nice program. But that will not keep me waiting for long. I would rather pay more for another application not to have to deal with all the emailing, waiting, and wondering. If I choose to pay for this application (a big IF at this point), is this the level of customer service I can expect???
