  1. hi try reinstalling IE u can reinstall using the inf folder which is present in %systemroot% the complete path is %systemroot%\inf\ie e.g c:\windows\inf\ie right click on the file named ie and click install inf folder is a hidden folder by default, to view it u will have to unhide it first using folder options from the tools menu bye
  2. hi sorry i am late download tweak ui and install it on your system it gives u an option to disable these tooltips and many other option to tweak ur desktop make sure that u download the correct version of tweak ui search google for tweak ui u can obtian the correct version of xp installed on ur system by running the winver command at the command prompt u can also run the following command from the run dialogue box start >>> run >> winver bye let me know if it works or not bye
  3. hi just restart ur computer windows xp will try to reintall the drivers by itself if it does not the u will require the cds that contain the drivers of the devices u have deleted u can also try the following steps get to device manager and delete cd-rw and dvd from the device manager, restart ur computer bye try it let me know what happened

  5. hi i suggest that u go on and create a new user account and migrate the settings of the present to account to the new account using the file and settings transfer wizard this will help u to create the new account with the prevous settings and u wont have to transfer ur desktop icons its to use the wizard use the following microsoft document http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;306187 plz let me know incase this solves ur problem or not
  6. u can also start and stop various services by following the following steps start--> run -->> (type) services.msc this gives u a window with the various services installed on ur computer u can start and stop any one of these by right clicking on any one the services and then selecting properties u can also change there default behaviour like automatic, manual , disabled etc try it i hope it solves ur purpose

  9. tried it, doesnt work , because the windows partitions have been formated with ntfs
  10. hi i had a dual boot system with windows xp installed on the c: drive and linux(SUSE 9.1) installed on the other i deleted the linux partitions using the disk managenet utility of windows now my system is unable to boot windows as every time i restart the system, grub boot loader loads but i dont get the options to select the OS plz help
