Looks like you still have a CA AntiVirus Program running. (VET??) Maybe you should uninstall this first before trying to install Norton. Also perhaps tell us what file is failing on. If you watch the progress screen, it will print the name of the file being copied there. I have found I sometimes have more than one Symantec help page before I get to the one that solves the problem for me.
