Oleg_II Mystery with LoadLibrary("\C:\WINNT\system32\txfaux.dllHKCR") failed - The specified module could not be found. LoadLibrary("\C:\WINNT\system32\es.dllHKCR") failed - The specified module could not be found. Cannot find the file 'C:\WINNT\system32\wbem,msiprov.dll' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. Cannot find the file 'C:\WINNT\apppatch,slayerui.dll' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.
Oleg_II It works with HFSLIP too Manually creating Quick Launch folder in %MyProfile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer needs only in Administrator, in All Users it is.
FDV I tested with unmodified i386 + test-set and get no errors. When I tested with test-set + HFSLIP_51017 and again I get: LoadLibrary("\C:\WINNT\system32\txfaux.dllHKCR") failed - The specified module could not be found. One crazy idea - maybe this problem only on PC with AMD CPU?
Latest FDV's test-set + HFSLIP_51030 (everything by default) I still getting problems with 1) Load library (“\C:\WINNT\System32\txfaux.dllHKCR”) failed; 2) Load library (“\C:\WINNT\System32\es.dllHKCR”) failed; 3) Cannot find the file “C:\WINNT\System32\wbem, msiprov.dll”; 4) Cannot find the file “C:\WINNT\System32\apppatch, slayerui.dll” and Search don't work Someone getting this problems without me?
When SYSOC.IN_ was without "WinUpdate=Ocgen.dll,OcEntry,HFSLIPWU.INF,HIDE,7" I don't get eny errors. Now, when SYSOC.IN_ is OK (witht "WinUpdate=Ocgen.dll,OcEntry,HFSLIPWU.INF,HIDE,7") I get stupid errors again It seems what only I got this problem
OK. SYSOC.IN_ in SOURCESS is CABed and with "WinUpdate=Ocgen.dll,OcEntry,HFSLIPWU.INF,HIDE,7". Oleg_II I added Volume Control from Win. Comp., but still getting "Cannot display the volume control on the taskbar because volume control has not been installed". FDV By default test-set must to remove Paint & Calc ?
Oleg_II SYSOC.INF is not CABed in SOURCESS. I looked at yesterdays's installation source - SYSOC.INF is CABed, maybe CABed SYSOC.INF was the problem for my errors. Now I will try to CAB and test today's installation source B)
Finally! No errors with latest test-set and HFSLIP_51027 FDV "MSHTML.INF has been rewritten to install MS HTML and Help system", but I can't find in Your fileset
Hmmmm, just tested with HFSLIP_51017 - no errors, even can't find IEXPLORE.EXE and icon gone from desktop Now going to test with HFSLIP_51027 again With HFSLIP_51027 I got errors again and icon is on desktop
Oleg_II - "I've just noticed tha IE icon is gone from desktop using beta fileset." Do you used www.vorck.com/data/test-set.zip and HFSLIP_51027 and tested on real PC? Do you made any changes in fileset?
I tested FDV's test-set + HFSLIP_51027 (commented out COM and DTC) First boot after installation I got some errors 1) Load library (“\C:\WINNT\System32\txfaux.dllHKCR”) failed; 2) Load library (“\C:\WINNT\System32\es.dllHKCR”) failed; 3) Cannot find the file “C:\WINNT\System32\wbem, msiprov.dll”; 4) Cannot find the file “C:\WINNT\System32\apppatch, slayerui.dll”
