  1. Surely Ice ! I assured that all my downloaded hotfixes were from the same language as my WinXP CD (portuguese Brazil) and i´m sure Soma did it too, but for portuguese Portugal. Gosh, I´m very sad !
  2. Hi Soma and all members. I´ve tested the same procedure i´ve tried under XP Pro Portuguese_Brazil and XP Pro English version and the integration simply doesn´t work unless in English XP !!! Unless Microsoft or someone finds a manner to solve this, it seems that we are forced to do the irritating and time consumpting update through the internet or use an English XP. (That not solves my problems) This really p*** me off ! Any discover, please keep us informed ok ? Thanks
  3. Why when i try to integrate the hotfixes manualy from the run command like was posted above : "PATH:\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB888113-x86-enu.exe /integrate:PATH:\WinXPSP2_ENU " I get an error saying "Error trying to integrate... be sure architecture, language and service pack level are correct..." The hotfixes are in portuguese, the XPCD too an the architecture is i386. I can see what´s wrong ! Any clue. A followed the link from gunsmokingman but without success. My Windows XP build is 2180 and the hotfixes have numbers like 5.1.(build)2600. Pardon my ignorance but my problem is related to this ? Thanks
  4. Thanks for the link. As soon as possible i will follow the tip. And about doing the searches, i always do before post, but not always you find what you need. You know the countless threads that exist.
  5. Humm. When i tried to execute the fixes manually it is giving me one dialog box error . Mine is in portuguese_brazil. I will try to translate to something similar : "Error trying to integrate this atualization package to the software. Be sure that the architecture, language and service pack level to this software atualization are correct to the destiny distribution folder" The command i runned was : F:\HotFixes\WindowsXP-KB873333-x86-PTB.exe /integrate:F:\WinXPSP2_PTB As you can see, all my hotfixes are in F:\Hotfixes and the extracted image from my winxp pro with SP2 (brazil) are in F:\WinXPSP2_PTB. Oh man , i´m losing my hair ! Do you know what this can be ? Thanks again for the patience.
  6. I´m not succeeding during the hotfixes integration. I have a windows xp pro with SP2 integrated but i can´t integrate the latest hotfixes that appears in windows update site. First i´ve tried to include them in nlite. Apparently everything goes fine, but after generate the iso and install it always asks for the hotfixes again. After that, i´ve tried the SVCPACK method. Here is my svcpack.inf file : ;Windows XP [Version] Signature="$Windows NT$" MajorVersion=5 MinorVersion=1 BuildNumber=2180 [setupData] CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK" [ProductCatalogsToInstall] [setupHotfixesToRun] KB867282.exe /Q /N /Z KB873333.exe /Q /N /Z KB873339.exe /Q /N /Z KB873374.exe /Q:A /R:N KB885250.exe /Q /N /Z KB885626.exe /Q /N /Z KB885835.exe /Q /N /Z KB885836.exe /Q /N /Z KB886185.exe /Q /N /Z KB887742.exe /Q /N /Z KB888113.exe /Q /N /Z KB888302.exe /Q /N /Z KB890047.exe /Q /N /Z KB890175.exe /Q /N /Z KB890830.exe /Q KB891781.exe /Q /N /Z qchain.exe í´ve also include in DODNET.info file the line : [OptionalSrcDirs] SVCPACK Both methods aren´t working for me ! Please, can anyone help me with this ? Thanks
