Thanks for the help! What I'm going to do is just move this folder to another partition. I'll probably wait a week and see if any errors come up regarding this folder. If no errors I'll delete it or burn it to disk. Thanks again.

It is possible to move the pagefily.sys to another partition off of the primary Windows partition? If so, how do you do it? Thanks, Charles

I have WinXP setup on a 5 GB partition with all my apps setup on another partition. I recently I noticed my Windows partition was filling up with stuff in the C:\Windows directory. I found that the directory C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download is 569 MB. I am not familiar with how Windows uses stuff from this directory...all I know is that this is where windows updates are kept. Would it be possible to delete all these files (or most of them) in this directory or does the OS constantly load up files stored here? Thanks in advance, Charles
