  1. OK, Thanks. Then I know where the problem comes from!
  2. This is my other WINNT.SIF, from my previous unattended XP. It works fine. It is made in nLite 0.99.8 beta 4 (a long time ago) ; ; Generated by nLite 0.99.8 beta 4 ; [Data] Autopartition = 0 MsDosInitiated = 0 UnattendedInstall = Yes [Unattended] UnattendSwitch = No OemPreinstall = Yes OemSkipEula = Yes FileSystem = * WaitForReboot = No NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1 TargetPath = Windows DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy = Ignore Hibernation = No [SystemFileProtection] SFCQuota = 0 [Display] Xresolution = 1024 Yresolution = 768 [GuiUnattended] TimeZone = 110 OEMSkipRegional = 1 OemSkipWelcome = 1 [UserData] ProductKey = "$$$$" [RegionalSettings] [Identification] JoinWorkgroup = MSHOME I don't get it why this is working, and doesn't display the annoying screen, and my other does.. Biggest differnce is at [Data], my new one has got: UnattendMode = DefaultHide The old one doesn't.. Instead it has: OEMSkipRegional = 1 OemSkipWelcome = 1 and also Hibernation = No, what is hibernation? Is it the stand-by mode? Or is it the sleeping stand (like in dutch Slaapstand). I'm Dutch, so I don't get it totally. I believe it's the sleepmode, but I'm not sure. I'll check if it works fine when I'm using 1024x768 in my WINNT.SIF, and if it still doesn't work, I'll try BitsPerPel=16.. Has it got anything to do with the use of MVWare, or doesn't that do anything. It's not possible for me to check just a normal install, because I will have to burn the cd, and spill a cd if it still doesn't work.. Not a big problem, but don't like it .
  3. First I tried with no X & Y resolution given, but that also didn't work. Hasn't it anything to do with the unattended type? I'll look in my previous unattended cd to it's WINNT.SIF and will trie to find out the problem..
  4. Hello. I got a problem with my unattended Windows XP Pro SP2 installation. It works fine, except it keeps asking a resolution thing at the 1st boot. I don't know exactly what it is called, but I mad 2 screenshots, they're in Dutch, but I'll try to translate them. Translation: Windows will adjust the resolution automaticly to make better performance (or something like that) Translation: Windows changed the resolution. Push OK if this text is displayed correctly. I don't know how to get those messages away.. This is my WINNT.SIF ; Generated by nLite 1.0 RC6 [Data] Autopartition = 0 MsDosInitiated = 0 UnattendedInstall = Yes OemDrivers = OemInfFiles [Unattended] UnattendMode = DefaultHide UnattendSwitch = No OemPreinstall = Yes OemSkipEula = Yes FileSystem = * WaitForReboot = No NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1 DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy = Ignore [OemInfFiles] OemDriverFlags = 1 OemDriverPathName = "%SystemRoot%\NLDRV" OemInfName = "smwdmvi3.inf","bcm4sbxp.inf" [SystemRestore] DisableSR = 1 CreateFirstRunRp = 0 [GuiUnattended] EncryptedAdminPassword = No AdminPassword = * TimeZone = 110 OEMSkipRegional = 1 OemSkipWelcome = 1 [Display] Xresolution = 800 Yresolution = 600 AutoConfirm = 1 [Components] [UserData] ProductKey = "somekey" [RegionalSettings] Language = 0413 [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents = Yes [Identification] JoinWorkgroup = MSHOME [GuiRunOnce] "%SystemRoot%\System32\nLite.cmd" Like you can see, AutoConfirm is to 1, so it should not appear, but it still does! How can I fix the problem? I tried everything a could, I searched the forum (I didn't know exactly where to search for) but I couldn't find a thing that worked. I'm testing my unattended setup in VMWare Workstation, can this be the problem? I would like to use the CD for more than one pc, so I can't make changes that will work on just one pc. Hope someone can help me! Many thanks! Jorik
  5. Problem solved, intergrated manauly SP4 and it worked...
  6. Hello, I've got a problem with nLite. This program works fine while using wXP Pro (I made a disk with SP2 and hotfixes ).. But now I'm trying to make a CD with w2k Pro with SP4 and hotfixes. But It's not working. nLite has copied my w2k cd (with Sp1 intergrated, is this the problem?) to my harddisk, and than I see this: There stays nothing after the Version :S... (I know, the screen is of w2k server, I tried this, but it did the same, I deleted w2k, so I use this screen). I'm using nLite 0.99.8 beta 5 running on wXP Home SP2 (PIV, 512ram). I hope someone can help me, do I need to use an older version of nLite or something like that?.. Or do I need a cd with w2k without SP1?
