I concur with jbjones, I too would also like to see such a tutorial or how-to. Preferably one without the phrase "Use XXX" where XXX is one of the plethora of automated install options. MSFN's slogan is or was "For those who want to know.", and most definitely NOT "For those who want to do rather than know." The latter is far too faith-based for my tastes. I'd much prefer to "know" how and why a method works rather than blindly trust that it does... orrwell

Anyone else experiencing spontaneous reset of the AskUser registry value? Quite often lately, I'll enter a search expression at google and Wham! I get the ^%$&^% Intelliforms prompt. This last time, I checked the registry before responding and somehow it has been reset to 1. I know for a fact that it was 0, and all other Form related values are disabled. Anyone have any ideas as to what is changing this? I suspect IE, but why the periodic reset? I know I could continuously run regmon to determine this, but I'd much prefer a quick solution.

I suspect the following: The reason this patch does not integrate properly at T-13 is because it replaces WMP.DLL in the i386 distribution folder. Subsequently, this patched file is overwritten by MP10 setup ( if you install MP10 via SVCPACK.INF or any other method prior to T-13). When the Hotfix is run, the version of WMP.DLL is incorrect thus it fails to install properly... Just a guess on my part, however. Not quite sure how to work around this issue at this time.

Any chance of un-obfuscating the vb code so that we can see just how you're accomplishing this?
