  1. With the Alpha-018 version, the sound is good and clean, no errors. The only problem is that the Windows general volume control is not working. Tested on: WindowsMe, AUDIO: Realtek ALC662 HDA, CHIPSET: North Bridge: AMD 770 and South Bridge: AMD SB710. Many thanks to Drew and everyone who helps in the development of this driver.
  2. With the Alpha-016 and Alpha-017 versions, the sound is still garbled (unless I run the ScanDisc). Tested on: WindowsMe, AUDIO: Realtek ALC662 HDA, CHIPSET: North Bridge: AMD 770 and South Bridge: AMD SB710. I also noticed that Alpha-016 and Alpha-017 have identical version number: 5.0.2195.16
  3. After some tests in WindowsMe, I found that if I launch ScanDisk and start scanning my hard drive while playing an MP3 file in WindowsMediaPlayer, the sound of the MP3 file being played becomes clear for a while.
  4. With the Alpha-014 version, I'm experiencing the following blue screen error at WindowsMe startup: File name: HDA(01) + 00000B83 Error: 0E: 0028: FF0824A3
  5. With the Alpha-013 version, ALC662 produces sound, but, as in the case of the ALC887 codec, it is garbled.
  6. I tested your audio driver on WindowsMe installed on real hardware with Realtek ALC662 HDA on-board. The driver is installed without any problems as "WDM Sample Driver for HD Audio", the system boots and works fine but there is no sound in the speakers (tried all the audio jacks). Anyway, thank you very much for your contribution to the win9x community
  7. Are you using Extended Kernel? I had a similar problem when I was using it. Never found a solution to this problem, so I had to stop using Extended Kernel.
