I want to install windows with the unattenden install placed on a network disk but I don't want it to copy all the files for all the software to the disk..

I have made an unattended install and I am still tuning WPI but I want to place everything on a network disk, is this possible and how does it work? Do I have to place all the software into the install folder or can I start them from someplace else? Because now he copies all the software files to the harddisk and because I want to use WPI it would be no good that he copies all the programm's files..

I am searching for a way to restore computers configurations in a very easy and fast way, when neede of course. First I was thinking of making an image of the different configurations and place them on to one of the fileservers. But what will be the best for me? Using images or using an unattende disk? The problem is that every computer has his own needs for software, is it possible that I add all the needed software for about a hundred computers to the unattended disks and is it possible that I can select the right software when it is installing? Or am I better of with images?
