  1. honksu posted this same question in the nLite discussion thread. I responded after researching at MS ,torture that it is. follow this link to get correct hotfix as they are OS specific http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...n/ms08-076.mspx These are the files altered in the 2000 OS Windows Media Player 6.4 for Windows 2000 File name File version File size Date Time Platform Netlogon.dll 5.0.2195.7011 366,864 07-Apr-2005 20:24 x86 Sp3res.dll 5.0.2195.7151 6,276,608 29-Feb-2008 10:26 x86 Msv1_0.dll 5.0.2195.6926 125,200 07-Apr-2005 20:21 x86 Logagent.exe 4.1.0.3937 65,055 19-Jun-2008 12:39 x86 Strmdll.dll 4.1.0.3937 247,326 19-Jun-2008 11:28 x86 It seems as those the files are specific versions for each OS yet the the same KB# is used in every instance.
  2. I have always "built" unattended CDs manually ,the development of nLite has definitely made it a tool to learn. Please help.
  3. I am new to nlite ,using latest version. To aid my learning of nlite ,as docs nliteos site are out of date , I tried to integrate Service Pack 3 with XP Pro. The XP source has no service pack. The product key ID that I used is the taken from my current PC. I created and tested the nlited source on a "mule" computer that I use for testing. The install stops at the product ID phase ,it rejects the key ? I did a second install using unmodified XP source and the same key and it worked but when I tried to update to SP3 using an MS CD-ROM , the update was rejected saying that at least SP1 had have been applied prior to SP3. I can find no reference or document to rectify this issue at the nlite site or in the forums. Any help would be greatly appreciatted.

  5. Magical Jellybean is an excellent program. It is now opensource so no more problems about being detected as a trojan/malware/virus as would happen in the past. Just Google Jellybean Then proceed to magicaljellybean and all will be well.
