When i go to run a database program in windows xp as an everyday user it refuses to work, how ever if i log on as an administrator it works perfectly? any ideas where i could be going wrong? Certain icons and programs in the start menu will not show up even though i have full control ?

I would like to be able to temporarily deny access to my windows 2000 server for all users on the network except the administrator. Is this possible? Can netlogon do this? Thanks in advance for any ideas
