  1. Well, it happened - AIM kicked me off version 6. Really not liking the newest version. If anybody figures out a way to make the old versions work again, which I doubt at this point, that would be just amazing, haha. Even so, at the very least I suppose I'm glad AIM didn't shut down altogether. Still...was hoping it wouldn't happen after all. Too bad, huh?
  2. Ah, I really hope something can be figured out. I'm getting a bit nervous, haha. Fingers crossed. I'd try to figure something out myself, but...I really don't know where to start. I'll be stubbornly hanging on to version 6 for as long as I can until then.
  3. I just got the same message today as well. I googled to find out about it and got here...guess it's legit. I'm running AIM 6.9.17.2 on Windows 8. I'm really bummed out, this version is super nostalgic for me and I still use it every day. I really don't want to have to stop using it, so I'm really, really hoping someone finds a workaround...just in case, I downloaded the other versions of AIM 6, to see if maybe they will connect come March 15. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread in case someone thinks of something.
