  1. Check out the "Windows To Go" feature that is available in the latest version of Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. It allows you to install and run Windows from a portable USB drive.   2. That's because offline nt password & registry editor doesn't support UEFI firmware that is used by most Windows 8 computers. The traditional bootdisks won't work any longer and you need to use a UEFI compatible tool such as PCUnlocker Live CD. If your problem has resolved, it's time to close this discussion now.
