I don't know of any command line tools that will engage the necessary files and functions to achieve the same output as ONE. I am looking for command line tools that will configure ONE, NOT to replace it. Ah. Well, the dev hasn't said there are any so, I'm going to assume there aren't any. But, it looks like we'll have to wait until he tells us.

There is this registry http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/6015-pc-folders-add-remove-windows-10-a.html trick that I use in conjunction with ONE on Windows 10 as ONE seems to have trouble keeping the "This PC" folders out of explorer. Attention forum members, the reason it sometimes stops working is because at times, explorer.exe hiccups and the process stops for a brief moment then restarts again. ONE isn't a part of Windows so Windows essentially doesn't recognize ONE as a part of Windows; therefore, reintegrating ONE settings isn't a priority. With that, ONE is never installed in the traditional since you're thinking of. I'm guessing it's designed to not be so intrusive just in case SHTF. When ONE seems to stop working, usually a simple uninstall, PC reboot, reinstall & one more PC reboot usually does the trick.

Try unistalling, restart PC then reinstall. Also, you can't move, delete nor edit any file that's currently being used..

Use ONE in conjunction with this http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/6015-pc-folders-add-remove-windows-10-a.html They have a .reg file ready for your convenience. After cleaning junk etc. Windows may reset the keys. If it does, wash, rinse and repeat

Yeah, this feature currently doesn't work properly on Windows 10. We must wait for further development

I personally have no need for such configuration as I only use a few directories & am willing to manually open each one in multiple windows. Also, I use n2ncopy for large copy & paste tasks. Nice left pane config though

Really? I spoke too soon.. I admittedly haven't used them since TP some time ago.. I don't know what's changed since then..

This does work but the link I posted will do the same thing in a .reg file so, if you're a lazy kid like me, it'll only take a few seconds I've used both this & that .reg file before but, i was really banking on ONE being able to do it this time around. Maybe further down the road..

I strongly prefer to have the "Folders" gone. http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/6015-pc-folders-add-remove-windows-10-a.html gets rid of it but, I was hoping ONE development has gotten to the point where it could handle the task.. I miss Favorites too. Quick Access is alright but, if you want your Profile Folder pinned there, you have to manually set the green shirt dude as the folder icon just so that it is correct.

Quick Access no longer has anything listed under it but "Folders" is still in This PC.. Oh I'm using Windows 10 64-bit by the way..

Running W8.1, I've noticed that after the recent updates you get the "Folders" menu option when hit CTRL+O in say a web browser and there's also the Desktop - Videos folders under This PC in the left side navigation pane. I'm simply clicking the little triangle next to "Folders" to hide it from view as a temporary solution... Anybody getting this?
