  1. @Ryan : arg again !!! PM me to get a decent hosting So frustrating not to be able to get those **** files...
  2. I can provide mirroring (not super quick but no bandwidth limit ) if needed : RyanVM's Silent-No-Switch JRE 5.0 for instance People : PM me if needed to host your files !
  3. Myself, I would never put a system partition of just a R0 array... Drives are not that reliable as it is. No need to multiply the odds of a failure by two. But to answer the question : I agree with BritishBulldog : manual is good some times !!
  4. What type of partition was it ? NTFS ? FAT ? Wha type of format did you choose during install ? Quick or standard ? in which type of partition ? NTFS, FAT ? Don't want to give false hope but if your partition was NTFS the Mirror copy of the Master Files Table is probably still still there, just not pointed out correctly by the partition table. GetDataBack should do it and get the MFT back in place now you may have definitively loose some stuff In any case, I would strongly suggest to ghost the original 80GB drive and to work on the copy !!
  5. All, Two hours of msdn and msfn later and I still can't find a defenitive answer to the following question: Is there an environment variable that point to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\" or any similar directory on localized version of Windows ? I know that %PROGRAMFILES% gives a part of it but I am quite maniac and now I want to put those freaking Codecs in the CommonFiles dir so I've got to find something. It has to exists !? Any help more than welcome !!
  6. My 2 cents for my first post: [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\Software\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP Professional\Index] "3"=hex:73,6f,2c,20,77,68,*** "1"=hex:41,35,55,52,47,54,*** Thoses two keys seems to depend on the Key : didn't work for me until I put the key generated by a clean install using my key. The online check seems not to like those too much in my case. I only install the Pro version and only got the second "1" key btw. Anyway, first time I launch CuteFTP, it pops up with the Enter your Serial windows (I double check my key and all). Second try : I change the reg file to reflect the "1" key genrated by a non-silent install : works like a charm. Am I writing some idiotic stuff ? May be you want to hide those in your post ? And apologize if I am wrong.
